Continue from my previous post (which was post #1111), the dentist extracted one of my baby tooth.

The other baby tooth he said no hope. It will probably drop when I'm around 40 (since I'm THAT slow) and I will probably not have wisdom tooth. I do not know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. I HAVE NO WISDOM?!

This week was mecha hectic week.

Just went to the dentist. And the answer to my previous post, its my adult tooth. To add on, the dentist kindly informed me that i still have 2 baby teeth. 'Its pretty interesting.' he said, as I'm already 20 and one of the 2 baby tooth was supposed to drop at 6 yrs old.

Went to help out my aunts and mum with the store, though I didn't really do much.
The whole thing was 10am to 3pm.

I love this photo. Haha. I said, "Look here and smile!" And just i was pressing down the shutter button, a lady walked pass and they all turned at the same time and smiled at her instead.

Conclusion: Not bad. Sales was better than I thought. Things that I thought will sell failed to sell and things that I thought won't sell, were sold. However, no crowd.

Boss' bday one day.

Shit happens.

I seems to be having an extra tooth growing in front of the first and second bicuspid of my lower jaw. I'm praying it is not a wisdom tooth. I doubt it is as due to its location but who knows.

The dentist is not exactly my favourite place on earth. In fact, I hate dentist. Have been trying to avoid visiting it for so long and now, it seems like I do not have a choice.

Mum was telling me she will help me make an appointment but probably will only be on a sat. Which means I might have to wait for a few weeks to get an appointment. I told mum to help me ask what time they close on weekdays. I kind of need to see the dentist ASAP now. The growing tooth is a little irritating. It is not really hurting me but it is kind of poking my gum which makes it a little sore.

Fingers crossed i can get an appointment soon.

Last night was Mr M's farewell party cum company dinner. Mr Z brought us to a seafood restaurant at Defu Lane. The '50 and above' (im in this club) rode in Mr Y's van down from office while the '50 and below' club took Mr Z's car. The dinner consist of awesome cheesey roll with abalone cold dish, a bowl of sharkfin soup, lots of gravy vege, super big and fresh steamed fish, coffee ribs, very yummy prawns, there-is-cod-roe-in-it seafood fried rice, fried muntou, black pepper crabs, butter crabs, mango dessert and a glass of liang teh. Good food. Food that i dont get to eat usually. Haha... Thanks Mr Z for the treat! Miss G and i was so excited for this dinner as this was our first company dinner. =D

Got to talk a lot with my colleagues during dinner, especially Miss G and Miss R. I really like the people in the company, with of cos, an exception of one or two. Haha... Travelled back with Miss T after dinner. Without her, i would have gone lost. She lives in Pasir Ris so we are the only 2 easterner. Had a long talk with her as usual. Really admire her for being able to handle so many projects at a go with such tight deadline. And i really love the designs she does.

Going to have lunch with rich later and dinner with black horse. Oh. And im looking forward to the trip this weekends!

On a side note, im really addicted to the k-on songs. Especially the ending themes by the seiyu of Mio, Hikasa Yoko. She is a good singer. =D

Somehow my seat always get shifted no matter what company im in. During my internship, i was shifted 4 times in 2 - 3months. And this time, it was my 3rd shift in 4months. Photo above was my previous seat. I love my newest seat so im not complaining. Haha... Its good as i can see everyone. At least almost all. Hope i can stay in this seat for long.

What was supposed to be a heroic act ended with me all embarrassed for no reason. Just hope that i did not embarrassed the lady or made the other lady angry. That guy must be laughing in his mind. At least i know i have done the right thing. Why did i hesistated at the first place? *facepalm*

And, why do i keep seeing my neighbours at city hall station? Its a different one everytime. Oh well. The world is way too small.

This is cheeseegg-chan. Mum used to make this for me for breakfast.
Had eggs this morning too. Wanted to eat half boiled eggs but mum overcooked them and they became a-little-uncooked-half-boiled-eggs. D: shall attempt again next time.

A little update of life.
Probation ended somewhere last month. It shows that i have worked there for more than 3months. However, despite how small a design firm is, my colleague still cant spell my name. Take Mr A for example, i have known him for more than 3months, have him on facebook for 2months. And just 2days ago, i added him on msn from a mass conversation. It was during mass conversation then i realised he spelt my name as chewyan. Haha... Pointed this out to him during yesterday's lunch and somehow the conversation had ended up getting me a new nickname, siewmai. Oh well, it shall be added to my list of nicknames after the one sharon gave me (yasai-chan). Sometimes i wonder, if i were to really compile all e nicknames given to me, 90% of the list is very likely to be given by my sister. Haha... Oh. The new intern guy, Mr D, who came it slightly more than a week ago sits behind me and has no idea what my name is despite the fact that i have talked to him a quite a few times. So i have been this nameless girl talking to him. Hmm... But its forgiven since it took me 2 to 3 weeks to know every colleagues' names. Maybe i should have introduced myself as carrot. It will be a lot easier to remember right? At least im introducing myself as xy now. Chinese names are always more difficult to remember.

Went for dinner with clara (i hope you like your birthday present. If you dont, feel free to return me as i like them a lot. Haha...), wina and christine at hogsbreath. Had awesome steaks, not bad buffalo wings and soso calamaris. Too bad the day after was a working day and the beer was overpriced or i could have drunk. XD overall was just nice, not too bloated and the price was good too (around 17dollars) thanks to the one-for-one promotion. We actually ordered 2 aussie size steaks to share among the 4 of us. Haha... Will bring family there one monday for dinner. =D

Have been listening to arashi's new album on repeat for the past few days. Really like all the songs having listened to them so many times. My favourite song is Refrain. And im so happy they included in Sora Takaku in this album. Its such an awesome song. My favourite solo was Matsujun's though it sounded kind of kpopish, BUT Oh-chan's solo is my favourite now. Not being bias, seriously. Their solos are always so nice. There are some typical arashi's-albums-must-have-tunes such as Don't Stop. Oh oh oh! There is a really cute photo of them with sunglasses in this album. Normal human (example, my sister) will think that it just another group photo of them with white shades. But awesome fangirls (example, me and sharon) will find that it is such an adorable group photo of them, showing off their dorky sides. Cant wait for my album to arrive!! Hmm... Maybe i should buy sharon a teachers' day present when i meet up with her to get my album but i think she will murder me if i say its a teachers' day present. Maybe just a little gift to thank her for treating me the past 2 meals. Hmm... Think carrot think!

Another update to my recent happening is that i have been watching K-on!. Its another anime (kuroshitsuji was the other one) i was interested in after seeing all the posters and promo stuff at akihabara. I prefer the opening and ending songs of season 1 than season 2's. Favourite character is Mugi-chan! Liked Mio at first but changed to Mugi as she is so cute with all the curiousity, randommess and 'betrayal'. Haha... This is seriously one anime that makes me burst out laughing. Hmm... So i have 3 ongoing animes to watch every week. How busy.

Im reaching my office in a flight of stairs and a corridor. But im not done updating. Maybe tomorrow morning again or something. Somehow im more motivated to blog on my phone. Haha...

One movie that I'm seriously looking forward to (other than Nodame Part 2 and Liar Game Movie which will BOTH be in Singapore this month. YEAH) is GANTZ.



The cast, the story, the whole hoohaa over it is making me excited. And yes, according to reports, it will be showing in Singapore somewhere next year (since the movie will only be out in Japan in 2011).

I swear I'm not bias towards this movie just because Nino is in it.

Vacation!!!!!!

I thibk I'm havin too much fun with my new phone's vintage/toy camera apps. :D

Im kind of sick and tired of getting a new phone. The whole story goes back to about 2 to 3 months when someone in the family informs me that its time for my turn to get a new phone. At that time, there was no phone that interest me and it was design show period so i didnt hate time to research on it. So it got dragged to may, my graduation day. Had dinner with the designers and dragged along with me to look at m1 phones. Spotted htc hero selling at $198 and gladly informed my dad that night that i want that phone. We went down to the shop the day after and was told by the salesgirl that it was out of stock. Same story at the m1 shop at tamp1. Disappointed but oh well, thats life. Attempt #2 was me checking on m1 web weekly (trying to see if htc legend's price will drop) a month later. PC show came and m1 had this 4days offer for htc desire (yes, that currently ranked first phone) selling at $398. Over my budget but it was a good price. Happily informed my dad that i want that phone and will pay 50% of it. So we planned to get it that weekend. 2days went past and i received comments able having to spend so much money on a phone. Guilt drowned me and i told dad that im not getting that phone anymore. So came attempt #3 last sunday. After cracking my brain for so long, and reading reviewsss. I decided to get SE xperia x10 mini ($188 at m1). Informed dad in the morning and then the horrible news came. Dad told me that he just remembered that im supposed to get my phone under mum's line, not mine so i should be checking on singtel prices and not m1. My weeks of stalking m1 have been for nothing. Fine. Looked through singtel prices. They were close to m1's. So we went down to the singtel shop at tamp1. Looked at the dummy ver of xperia mini and realised its actually VERY MINI. Great. Dad told be its better to buy a bigger screen phone so we didnt get it in the end. Went home, i researched further and listed down a number of potential phones. Thought over and consulted a few peoples for the whole week, i finally decided to buy samsung galaxy spica $88! Which leads us to attempt #4. Went down to bedok yesterday to get it. 2 shops said its out of stock. We went back to TM, century square and tamp1. All no more stock. FINE. Lets order online. When dad selected recontract on singtelshop, the price of the plan came up wrong. We didnt want to risk mum's cheap plan turning into ex plan, dad wrote an email to the consumer service asking how should we proceed buying it. So now, we are waiting for the reply. If we succeeded getting it, i will hate to wait 2weeks before getting it. Great. The wait. This cheap phones going oos thing reminds me of myself buying my current phone 22months ago. The cheap phone i was targeting was oos and so i ended up buying this almost $300 phone (not that one in the photo, its the one im typing on now. The one in the photo is my prev prev phone which i am still using now). So ex. D: anyway, shall slowly wait for the reply. Oh my life. And if there is any phrasing or typo error, dont mind me. They always appear when i blog with my phone.

Currently here! Nice place, nice songs with nice people. Haha... Here with colleagues to celebrate colleague's birthday. Sis! Clara! Im bringing you girls here one day. I want to try the italian strawberry mojito. But im having a cough. Waiting for the rest to arrive now. 9 people have arrived. 5 more to arrive i think. =D kind of hungry. Beef cheek sounds awesome. Forgot to bring camera out. Have to depend on this phone. Haha.

A belated post. This is my 20th birthday present from Sharon. Thank you miss alien. =D

Blogging on train again. This week can be considered as the busiest week since i started working. Its school holidays so schools want there campus to be dolled up during this period. Work have been piling up. 2 days left till end of week. I need a miracle will happen to assist me in finishing these works on time. Yesterday while i was riding on the train home with a colleague, we had a long talk and i was enlightened about the design industry and design trend in Singapore. Then today, the same colleague and another colleague came to me and asked why am i overtime-ing and what project i am working on. Each of them said something which made me stopped doing work, pack my bag and left for home. What they said made me realise how stupid and how much time have i wasted, struggling and dying. Sigh... I guess i will slowly learn more things as i proceed along.
I failed to alight at city hall to change train cos the train announcement was wrong. It was city hall, they said it was somerset. By the time i realised its city hall, the door was closing. Raffles place then.
I overslept today. The latest time to leave my house so that i wont be late is 8am. My alarm rang at 730am, i off it and went back to dreamland. When i wake up next, it was already 815am. Panicked. Haha... Rushed out of the house (mum and sis were still able to help me heat up my curry puff and pack my grapes), and stumbled through the horrible rain, to the train station. When i reached braddell, it was 915am. Officially reached office at 925am. So damn late and i could still grab a bottle of coffee from 7-11 on my way to the office. Haha... Was not the last to reach though.
Now on to world cup. Haha... If you know my sis and me well, you will know we will be watching world cup and supporting portugal. HAHA. Speaking of portugal, last night match of portugal vs ivory coast was damn disappointing. How could it end with a draw. Portugal is supposed to win. And the brazil vs nkorea match (the one that i force myself awake to watch), the first half was boring. However, nkorea was suprisingly strong. Though they lose, they were able to end the game with 2-1, when everyone was expecting brazil to win them by a 10-0 or something. Lol. Both skorea and nkorea are not bad this world cup. Found an eye candy in skorea team. Haha... Totally betraying christiano ronaldo. XD Japan not bad too but they need to play against a stronger team to see their abilities. The only good looking guy in japan team is honda. The rest are... just like that. Haha... There is spain tonight!

Its 9.16pm and im still at toa payoh, still walking to braddell station. Im missing my 9pm drama and have yet to eat dinner. No good. Im going to reach home at 10.15pm and will be damn damn tired.
The day had started badly for me with a SPLITTED headache. Ate 2 panadols before setting off to work but the pain continued all the way from tampines to braddell and even when i hav reached my office, it was still toturing me. Today was probably the first time i have travelled such long distance without wearing my specs. My specs make my head hurts more. Speaking of headache, my collegue, Jem was telling me to eat and drink more vit c before leaving the office just now. The both of us were sniffing and sneezing throughout the 8hours. Like me, she had a headache this morning too. Haha... Apparantly, the flu virus, originated from MJ, i think, have successfully travelled to our area.
Everyone take care too. The weather is very unpleasant recently. From a WTF-30°C to extreme-sudden-downpour-which-results-the-office-aircon-to-be-freezing-cold-below-20°C, anyone can get sick. The Toa Payoh North clinic near my office seems to be very prosperous last week and this week. I have never seen it once without patients sitting to the outside of the clinic. Chou dame～

A little recap of last weekend:
Celebrated sister's birthday at RC's house. Baked a cupcakes birthday cake. The photo posted earlier was the first batch of cupcakes that came out from the oven. We decorated them with choc and cream cheese frosting to completed the cake. The cupcakes ended up to be our supper, breakfast and lunch. Haha... Beered and wined this weekend too. Hoho... Awesome stuff k. Wiied too. Wiied a lot to be exact. But surprisingly, my arm was not that jialat today.

Back about work, finally went about informing my boss about applying for leave next fri. Looking forward to next week. My long weekend! Haha... This week is going to be bad i tink. LuC just passed 2 more stuff to do when i still have god knows how much posters to do. No end de. And these posters are due this week. Well, they are not hard to do, but just that im running out of ideas how to layout the images and text. The posters are all starting to look alike. Horror. And the font required changing today. Which was pretty much relayouting whatever i have done last week. I swear i almost died when i received that email. But well, this is the industry. 我忍! Was going crazy to the point that i was typing in chinese to my collegue on msn. Number of posters done so far: 18 and 3/4. Haha... Didnt manage to finish the 19th poster before leaving today. Anyway, Q will be back tml so we will have one more person to help out with the stuff. Yeah.
Blogging on phone seems to take really long. Its 9.51pm now and my train just left paya lebar. Shall stop blogging now so that i can start brainstorming for that project due on thurs. I sense a headache coming. OH NO(satoshiislove)! Rofl. Looking forward to my birthday present from alien sharon! Haha!

On my way home. Today's work went well i guess. It's pay day afterall. :D i can clear my debts! Calculated a little and realised that i only have a little leisure money after minusing my debts, traveling for may and lunch for may. D: however, the money i earned for working 1 and a half week is so much higher what earned in a month during internship. Oh wells, internship is also known as cheap labour anyway.
A guy came in to our office to give us a talk on depression. He kept commenting the whole office look damn young. Like 16 or 17 years old. I have to agree with him with the look young part. They all look young! Haha... The guy kept asking us if we are depressed as we refuses to answer his questions. He brought up a whole lot of local suicide cases. So much that my colleague from philippines asked me if singapore suicide rate is high. Oh well. Circle line trains are too cold!

A little update on my life. I have found a permanent job. A little earlier than i thought. My colleagues friendly people. The whole office gives a nice homely feeling. So homely that we wear bedroom slippers in e office. Haha... Though i have not been getting enough sleep ever since i started working, im enjoying my job so thats ok. Can't wait to get my pay though. XD

Went to school yesterday with a bad feeling (thanks to sister's ipod touch's The Sims app).
And I was right.
The dimension of the panel got changed.
And I had to reprint.
Somehow my gut feelings told me to bring my thumbdrive.
But sadly, I couldn't find my files in it.
Rang up my heroine, Miss Xiu Yu and pleaded her to email me the files.
However, somewhere in the process of attaching the attachment, I found my working files in the recycle bin folder of the thumbdrive.
Edited, printed, mounted (THANK YOU RAYSON! <- he is the hero of the illus rm. LOL)
Then I realised my border's dimension was wrong.
Chose to ignore after consulting a few schoolmates.
Ended up helping Chee An with her Tiger babes for the rest of the day till 10pm.

p.s. James is awesome. He went about and helped Chee An to find the working file CD from don't know who. [insert glitters and sparkles here]

Well, it was expected to see market spoilers in the design show.
Or should I say, I'm just less creative and awesome than them?
Sometimes I think that maybe I should start thinking this way rather than calling almost everyone market spoilers.

Just kind of sad I got the bad lighting spot for the display.
Blame myself for not 'choping' a spot earlier.
Oh well.
At least I did informed Taipang about the bad lighting.
It's so dark that the front of my L size shophouse could hardly be seen.
Had to keep moving my mockups around to get a much positive lighting.
Chee An and I were discussing that they should give us a spotlight each as the venue is really dim.
The big portfolio's stand is really shaky.
Push and it will fall. XD
